   I use about 6 scoops of sugar and no creamer in my coffee. Also, I can't do the splenda thing…..n-a-s-t-y.

   How much coffee do you drink? One cup, two cups or three cups? We have a Keurig coffee maker in my house and it brews 1 cup at a time using a K-cup. It is kinda expensive but if you only drink a cup a day then it is awesome.

   Our church serves Starbucks coffee for free and I always feel weird when the line is getting longer behind me as I open 10 packs of sugar to pour into the coffee.

   Those are great principles that can easily be applied to Christian disciplines as well. My favorites are #3 & #5.

   Plan ahead- put your Bible out on the coffee table or your favorite chair so that when you wake up it's ready to go. My wife and I got a Keurig for Christmas. Have that set to brew in the morning when you wake up, or just grab a K-cup and brew a cup for while you read.

   Fake it- while it is sad to admit, sometimes the best way to get through an adversity in faith is to continue going through the motions and looking forward to a brighter day. It is in those periods of time that God can really teach us some amazing lessons. So persevere through those times, even if you have to fake it a bit to make it through. God's grace is perfected in our weakness.

   Thanks for the encouragement! BTW- I really enjoy sprint interval workouts, but your words inspire me to get back out there. Thanks.

    When I bought this, I did not have much thought about this machine except just coffee itself. Now, having used this machine for 6 months, I found that I am throwing out so many plastic packages. So, I bought re-usable coffee filter, but it was just messy and the coffee was not that great. And all the convenience is gone. You might better use the normal brew coffee machine that use a single sheet filter.
    There is an another option of using K-cup pod maker, which I haven't tried. But then again, you have to go through making pods by yourself, which may not be an option for the poeple who just want convenience.
    Unless each k-cup is being made recyclable, wasting plastics for each cup of coffee is a wrong thing to do, especially when we have many ways of coffee making without hampering our environment. Besides, it doesn't make that great coffee, enough to justify damaging the environment.
